She is the author of Anatomies: A Novella and Stories (Picador USA) and Everyday Acts & Small Subversions: Women Reinventing Family, Community and Home (The Eighth Mountain Press). Anndee teaches poetry and creative non-fiction to writers of all ages in settings that include schools, after-school programs, detention centers, senior housing and a small fishing village on the Pacific coast of Mexico. She lives with her partner and daughter in Philadelphia.
